Not necessarily. On the route of this plethora of "upgrades" the company finds that it has to relocate its manufacturing (which it has already removed most of the human element from) to outer Mongolia or some other place where labour is cheap and unprotected, in order to remain "competitive". Other companies follow suit. Including your own.
