Sadly that is not true, all the Mac users I know (more than three) had a (sometimes ilegal) copy of Microsoft Office installed on their computers, even when there are free and better alternatives. They like Office because it's "pretty". One of them even goes to the trouble of running (Microsoft) Virtual PC so he can run the PC version of Office on Windoze, for greater compatibiliy he says, turning a speedy and virus-free OS X G4 into some slow emulated piece of crap full of viruses and anti-viruses. I myself am forced to use Virtual PC (not Microsoft's, it is the version before Microsoft acquired Connectix) and Windoze 2000 to run Garmin Mapsource but I use it in the non-permanent disk mode (nothing is written to the hard disk image) so it's always fresh and clean!
