I'm not sure in terms of which connections on the lens mount need to be covered or shorted, but I'm sure it can be done. I'm sure because my Sigma 400/5.6 APO Macro does it without my help. When it's AF/MF switch is in the AF position, it's a normal AF lens. And when the switch is in the MF position, it's a normal MF lens, including trap focus, without me doing any more than throwing the switch. TTYL, DougF KG4LMZ
