The cheap generic version of the visible dust brush is to find a make-up seller in your area and find a nylon "mask brush" (Mine came from Target for $8.99) then follow the directions at:

It works great and it costs less than $10, unless you count labor.

I've also used a brushless blower from a local camera store, about $10, but sometimes it seems like it just moves the dust around.

And once when I was traveling and didn't have access to my blower or brush I used a Q-tip, but thats not a very safe solution but I was careful and it worked.
