Or, to upgrade the sensor in your 1903 Kodak Box Brownie all you need to do is buy a
roll of 120 film. Try that with your 2003 Digital. <GRIN>

Dead or not dead...
i just returned from shooting my first roll. Had a lot of fun, sunset and
everything was great.
Little bit heavy, but still comfortable. Have to consider new, serious
tripod.
Viewfinder was fantastic.
And i liked that shutter sound - like door opening from Star Wars :)

I think, most important is to have fun. Digital or film. No difference.

Ok, if we return to the "film is dead" subject again... current digital
DSLRs will be dead too. Sooner or later. At least the technology we are
using now. And who knows, after 5 years, SD/CF memory cards will be
obseleted, but i still will be able to order roll of 120 film for 5 EURos.
Let's see...

I'm not trying to compare them, I only mean that so that you could even
think of making a comparison between the film used on that picture and a
CCD you would need a CCD with at least 648 Mega pixels

No you wouldn't. That's the point of the article.
