Well Mark Roberts has the repair manuals on his website.

You will need both the ME and ME Super manuals. There is no reason why any reasonably mechanically competent person could not fix it.

If you bought from a shop, it probably has a guarantee, why not send it
back?
I sent them a mail. A rather polite mail I believe. No reply. So I simply
assume that the shop keeper is a dishonest person, who would resell the
camera to another customer, without refunding me. I may be wrong, but this
is what my instincts tell me. In fact they did in the first place. I should
have listened to what my belly was telling me, but I didn't :-(
My there is point in focusing on this. The main thing is to get the body
working, at an affordable prize. And I really want to say that I appreciate
the answers in this group.
