Yesterday, I went walking through an arboretum in Ann Arbor with some
friends. As we walked down the path, I photographed the trees and flowers
along the way. All the while, I was being chomped on by mosquitos. We came
across a rustic looking bench and they took a seat. I shot several photos
with various expressions. We joked and laughed all the while. It dawned on
me that I had a far greater connection to my friends than to any of those
flowers and trees.
I hate "thing" photography. Anyone who is a thing photographer, I admire
you! <G>
