Yes, Pismo is the same as Powerbook G3 Firewire.If you buy a Ti, the early ones are for several reasons not very good or very reliable, you should get a later one, anything after the change to 32Mb of video RAM, DVI output and Aluminium case. They're a bit more expensive but won't disapoint you.
