Hi William,
I focused on the house with the lens at f2, which the viewfinder said was
OVER, I then rotated the aperture ring on the lens, an A 50/2, until the
viewfinder display indicated 2000, and shot what I uploaded as "scan 1".
Rotating the aperture ring on the lens until 1000 was indicated in the
viewfinder, I shot "scan 2" and so on. The camera itself was set on AUTO
and the speed dial indicated 400.
Am I missing something obvious?
