That's why I don't use a vest in summer, the good ones are too hot and the cool ones are too flimsy. The nice thing about the Tamrac Velocity 5 is that when it gets too hot as a fanny pack you can switch it to a shoulder bag. Then when your shoulder's tired you can go back.
