Sorry for the interruption to your regular
discussions.
In the past few months that I have begun to more
seriously use my
mechanical cameras, I have come to realise that
given the age of many,
they are in need of work. And the more I got into
it, the more interested I became.
Whilst doing research on the web, I have come to
realise that there is information
located in many disparate places. And there isn't
really a forum where people who
are interested in fixing up their own cameras,
could exchange information.
As such, I have started a new yahoo group to cater
to this:
... I would welcome anyone who has an interest to
join in.
If there are favourite links or diagrams etc. that
you wish to upload, these too are
welcome.
What I have in mind most at this point is
mechanical cameras, as like mechanical
watches, they have found a following of their own.
However, I welcome any discussions
on electronic cameras as well - so long as the
discussions pertain to working on cameras
as opposed to usage, which the groups you already
belong to cater for.
