My intention is to be able to fit the picture itself on the screen.
Scrolling down a little to go past the text doesn't worry me. I
might stick with 500 pixels as 600 will be pushing it even without a
border. Seems a bit small considering it was resized from 8,744
pixels height.
I did experiment with the idea of having writing on the side but it
won't work for landscape or panoramic photos. I could do alternate
layouts based on the format but I'd rather not as it becomes
difficult to maintain.
