Mine arrived today as well. I took just a few snapshots before dark. I
believe they were all at 5.6, and they look very good. I also tried
some continuous autofocus of a friend who was walking toward me. The
results look good. I'll probably try a few more shots tomorrow. Like
the DA 16-45, it's quite nice looking. The hood is very substantial. So
far, I like it. Of course it will be a while before we can make a real
assessment, but it seems promising.

Very nice lens, compact, fairly light, seems quite sharp.
Almost *totally* resistant to flare. ;-)
Focuses pretty slow, not surprising for its speed.
Will make a wonderful 2 lens kit along with the 16-45/4.
Got to play with B&W film and a state of the art AF lens,
both in the same day.....................OH THE JOY!
