I have no idea. I've never used either of those other lenses. Perhaps
someone who owns one of the latter will eventually do a comparison. I
suspect that the new lens might be slightly better on the D cameras.
But that's just a guess. So far it compares favorably to my Vivitar
Series 1, but I haven't done anything even remotely resembling a test.
And I probably won't. I generally don't test. I just shoot, and if I
like the results I keep shooting. If I don't I put the lens up on ebay.
