Geez, I like yer stuff, Godfrey! This is no exception. Nice use of blur (always a favourite of mine, if well done and used judiciously as it is here). GREAT composition. I haven't read the other comments yet, except for the first sentence of Albano saying that it cries out for horizontal framing. Sorry, Albano, but I disagree. Those little windows with the light streaming in, are a wonderful part of the scene, and I really like the space below the people on the bench. I think it's framed about perfectly as is. The couple with their backs to us really intrique me, especially the fellow with his head hung down like that. There's real emotion in that body language, even if we can't see his face. And the way the lady facing us is trying her best to ignore the other two - great stuff. I also like the contrast of her white outfit with his black. I could go on - but this is just a terrific shot! Let's just leave it at that. BTW, Toronto's Gay Pride parade was yesterday, too. Too hot; after waiting for about 1 1/2 hours for the parade, I decided to walk up to Church Street (the gay ghetto, simply called "the ghetto", which was closed off for a giant street party. Only took about 1/2 roll or 20 frames. It was so hot and humid, I don't think I was inspired enough to shoot anything good. Hopefully got a few interesting shots... cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
