Nice composition and the spores make a difference, but I think the background is too similar chromatically to the subject. While in this case there is a Braswellian solution (or perhaps stop-down and flash), I have the same problem in my garden: this is a good year for my rose bushes in the middle of the lawn, but the pictures look awful with the Leyland cypress hedge behind them. We will need to sell, and my only memories of them will be in the fading grey cells :-(
