Hi there Lon,
I have to agree with you here with the KX, I picked up a Black KX in mint
condition last year. When I took it for a CLA the local repair guy said he's
never seen such a nice example of a KX, it hadn't even had a CLA before. All
mechanical, match needle metering, DOF, MLU self timer and they take common
LR44 batteries for the meter. They are very nice cameras although I still
seem to be using the K1000 and KM 99% of the time in fear of brassing that
black beauty. I have both the 55K1.8 and the 50K1.4. The 55 K1.8 is a fine
lens indeed, but I'll agree with Mark in that the 50 K 1.4 absolutely ROCKS.
