In the UK, they won't let you on a plane without photo id.  Generally, that 
means a passport, even if you are only travelling within the UK, although there 
are other possibilities.  I suspect, international agreements notwithstanding, 
the airlines here would not let you aboard for an international flight without 
one.  Have fun, anyway.  Don't keep the Big Applers up past their bedtime.....
