Herb, you said that Bruce's original photo wouldn't sell, and that the image produce by Powell would. My point is that Bruce has his own ideas about what he wants, and if he compromised that ideal just to make a salable image, he'd be compromising his creativity and vision. It's not always about money and making something that will sell. I'll leave that to the pixel pushers who see things in terms of dollars and cents, time saved, expediency factors, and the like. In the mean time, let's allow for some photos to be made solely as an expression of the photographer's vision, and salability and cost factors be damned. What the hell is "visionary junk?"
