Hi All,

I am considering buying a slave flash.
It should be a simple, inexapensive one,
for occasional (rather infrequent) use when I need to do some indoor shots,
with limited preparation/space/equipment to be carried around.
The purpose of it, as I see it, is to create a more balanced light,
to smoothen the shadows from the main flash unit, and maybe
create some highlights.

So, I looked at a few models (available at B&H), and found 2 possible
contenders.
1. SP systems, midi-slave DC flash

2. Phoenix D92-BZS Digital Slave Flash

The second one is capable (presumably) of being set to fire correctly
if the preflash is used, and has a manual zoom.

So, here are my questions:
1. Any comments about the quality of either of the two flashes?
2. How well does the capability to work with a preflash works?
3. Any suggestions for alternative models for either of the type?

Thanks,

Igor
