That sounds
 like a pretty valid comment.On the rest, we can disagree and
still be  friends.


Herb's criteria make painters like Thomas Kincade ("Painter of Light") and
Jack Vettriano better artists than Leonardo da Vinci and Botticelli.

It must be a very bleak experience to inhabit a mind that thinks sales are a
measure of aesthetic quality.

I think it's more a measure of commercial quality.
Why is this criteria any less valid than any other?
