that only tells me that he was incompetent at getting anyone to pay
attention to him. i said will sell, not did sell, and not is trying to sell.
using a person who could barely cope with living as a counterexample is
stretching anyway.

Van Gogh sold exactly one painting during his lifetime. After he died his

was discovered. If his executor had destroyed Van Gogh's paintings after

worthless junk we'd know nothing of him today except for that one work.
