I run the same size. Resizing pictures to 72dpi, with whatever long measurement fits the screen is ok. But it seems that something else happens when I upload to fotocommunity.com - I know the site automatically readjusts the image if it exceeds the allowed parameters. No doubt, it's something I am doing and one day my brain will work it out.
