Hi Thiboille before I tell you something completly wrong:
I just received an older Metz 20 bc6 flash from an auction which would not release the flash when I pushed the test button or mounted it on the camera hot shoe and tried it that way. I heard the flash loading noise and the light for beeing ready was going on but no flashing at all. Before finally giving up I just tried it again another day, again with different full loaded rechargable batteries and it started to work randomly. After 10-20 test flashes the Metz works now reliable. Seems that some flash brands do not like it when not be in use for a longer time I had that effect with a Metz 32CT3 too and that was the model that did not like high capacity NiMh but only the older 1500ma Ansmann. As far as I remember, the Pentax ME winder II was picky too regarding battery type. The Pentax AF280T flash works with every brand of battery I have here. greetings Markus >>-----Original Message----- >>From: Thibouille [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >>Sent: Monday, July 04, 2005 10:33 AM >>To: [email protected] >>Subject: Re: AA v Proprietory Batteries >> >> >>This is weird.
