The parallels with radio are striking.50 years ago, Short Wave radios were high 
tech stuff.A ham radio license meant you knew electronics and Morse Code.The 
hobby involved equipment, local clubs, and talking to peoplearound the 
world.Often the conversation was about equipment...
Now this pdml group is pretty high tech with computer gear.We share a hobby of 
photography.And we spend way too much time talking to people around the world.
