Hi Daniel As Pancho probably knew I live near Zurich in Switzerland ;-) Of course you should visit the mountains if you have never seen them. You could take daily guided excursions by bus from Zurich main station to the most beautiful places in Switzerland for example with my friend Gabriela Kappeler, the owner of www.bestofswitzerlandtours.ch. Have look at the site and feel free to send her an email at [EMAIL PROTECTED] mention my name. She is busy but very helpful.
I really can recommend the Mt. Pilatus tour or the Mt. Titlis and can send you some photos I made in the last weeks for her privately if you want to be inspired ;-) Tell me a bit more about your plans: How long will you stay in Zurich. Would you prefer just staying in the city going for a stroll? Traveling in Switzerland is quite expensive, does price matter a lot? What kind of food, culture do you like? I could, for example, lead you one afternoon to the house mountain of Zurich where you can take nice panorama shots of the lake of Zurich and even the mountains if it is not hazy. There is a nice restaurant on top and you can take a cable car to the top. That would be quite inexpensive since you can go by public transport. If you email me the exact date of your visit to Zurich and you likings, I can do a little research for you ;-) What do you think? greetings Markus >>-----Original Message----- >>From: Daniel Matyola [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >>Sent: Tuesday, July 05, 2005 2:20 AM >>To: [email protected] >>Subject: OT: Switzerland >> >> >>I am in the process of finalizing our plans to visit Switzerland >>at the end of the month.
