Hi Sid, There was a period of time when I was considering buying that camera. Before that I tried Optio-555, and liked it. >From the reviews, I formed an impression that the 555 might be better than 750, despite the difference in the number of pixel. Some people attribute this to the increased level of the noise in the 7MP chip compared to the 5MP one.
Also, - if you are in the US, - there are lower prices available from other places. E.g. buydig.com has it ~$50 cheaper (plus the same $50 rebate is available). (Despite all concerns about buydig.com, I just purchased my *ist DS from buydig.com, then replaced it because of a defect, and everything was done quickly and without problems) Igor
