Absolutely correct!

If you guys think so...
To me that's just so many meadow muffins.
Amrchair generals that know nothing about how to fight an insurgent war,
driven by a wildly aberrant religious fanatics... No, them, not us...
We may still need a reprise of the Crusades (except with no Christian
banners,) to finally wipe them out.
Two salient facts, one is you MUST wipe the extremist, fatalistic
Muslims out, or like Medusa, they keep growing back: and two, while our
(the civilized world's) goals are to live and enjoy life, theirs is to
die and see if what they've been lied to about is really true....
I disagree completely with this. If you kill one, another will be drawn
in to take their place. Because everyone has brothers, sisters,
fathers, mothers, sons. It will go on ad infinitum. What you have to do
- and which we British have become very good at - is infiltrate and
prevent. It's what eventually stopped home-grown terrorism here and it
will work in other places. It is a slow process with no obvious
"spectaculars" to show that things are happening but there is nothing
more dispiriting to an organisation than repeated failure. Eventually,
there will be organisational change to remove the Kalashnikov
politicians (religion has nothing to do with this, it's pure and simple
power politics) and replace them with the dumbass talking heads _we_
have to suffer.
It's the non-armchair generals who have suckered us into this unwinnable
shooting war.
