Hi!
Just a quick note to say I'm safely back home. Flight on schedule and
everything. A "Pirate taxi" driver showed up at our hotel, grabbed six
of us and took us safely and responsibly to Heathrow. Just in time for
boarding to Oslo. The Swedes and the Austrians even had time for shopping.
Thanks to BobW, Steve Jolly, Alistair and Cotty for all your concern and
your generous offers (and thanks to Billy Abbott, too, though I'm not
sure if you're aware yourself...:-)). It is in times like this one
really understand what a wonderful community the PDML really is.
Speaking of responsibly, btw, I must say Londoners in general showed an
impressive calm about the incidents. People were shaking heads not fists.
