You're right, Boris. But it's not as sharp as I'd like it to be. I stick to
f8-f16. An I sharpen at 126 !
It's hard to judge my the jpeg's. I must do some serious RAW shots one of
these days :-)
But the 18mm wideangle is so nice in situations like this :-)
I must get myself a Sigma F.2.8/18-50mm or perhaps a Pentax 16-45mm. Or even
better: A F.2.8/16-60mm (equal to 24-90mm)  - prefereably for less than 500
USD :-)) Does such a lens exist?

Jens, are you getting better opinion of your little Sigma? It seems to
have performed well again. But at f/8 many lenses do...
