The 15mm A and 77ltd are on my wish list. So is the A 35-70/4 but I
expect to be able to afford that.

Since joining the list in February, I've experienced enablement in the
worst way. I have acquired no less than one body, three primes, one
zoom, a camera bag, everything necessary to process black and white
film, a film scanner, at least one photo magazine subscription, a
handful of random assorted other goodies, and one digicam. I hold
Bill Robb ( and most of the rest of you ) personally responsible. But
not Frank. Based on my limited experience, he's the only one immune
to this nonsense. <g>
To continue a recent survey trend, how has the list inspired ( coerced
) you to become enabled?
I never needed much encouragement to buy camera equipment. I'm pretty
good at enabling myself but this list pushed me over the edge to seek
out the FA 200/4 macro last year. I don't think I would have made that
jump without someone pushing me.
And then there's my little delivery from yesterday. I am now the proud
owner of an SMCP A 15/3.5. I may not have bought that one without Robb
shoving me over the edge.
Pentax has an interesting marketing strategy. Put just enough
unobtainium in their lenses to make you lust for them but not so much
that they're absolutely impossible to find.
