Hi!

Taken on the first day of the trip.  It is very difficult to truly
show the scale of this place.  The overlook is 2000 feet above the
Colorado river that you can see at the bottom.  On the bottom right of
the picture you can see a jeep road - about halfway down the canyon.
I have wide shots and more compressed shots like this one.

Bruce, (Shel at al ;-) ), if one is photographing the Dead Horse Point does it mean one is beating the dead horse? :-)

Bruce, on my screen it looks very much as if it was taken with film camera... I mean that as a compliment.

Wonderful photograph of a wonderful place...

The horse is definitely not dead, not just yet.
