At least for the current images. Still have to recover the old ones on the
512M card.
So there would be enough space for shooting over the 4th of July weekend,
I picked up a 1 gig card. But I took along another card reader and the laptop
on our campout. Guess what? Same problem when reading from the 1G card.
So I didn't erase the images off the card and the other day picked up a
CameraMate
SD reader. It handles the 1G card just fine. No read errors.
Apparently there's a big difference in card readers.
But even a cheap one that's designed with photography in mind is just fine.
The CameraMate SD reads only SD cards. And it's a mere $15 @ MicroCenter.
