I held my breath when handing NZ$1100 for mine a few years ago.  At  
the time that might have been around US$600 equivalent.  But it's not  
exactly pristine (nasty-looking small dent in the hood).

They have gotten rather expensive.
I ended up paying close to 1800.00 for mine last spring.
