This may be of interest: A chap on another mailing list inadvertently formatted an SD card in a camera, and then realised he hadn't actually grabbed all the shots from it first! He tried Lexar's own recovery app but could not recover the pics with that. After an appeal, he later wrote:
------- Thanks for your replies ! After receiving your answers I gained back hope and tried http://www.mediarecover.com first. Unfortunately this software could not solve my problem. Bummer !! Fingers crossed, I downloaded the software from http://www.lc-tech.com and this did the magic thing. So quickly I paid the $39,95 and now I have all my images back (plus a memory card which I can use again). -------- Hope this helps someone.
