the main problem i have with stitching programs other than Photovista is that they are nowhere near as good at blending. the transition between adjacent images is a lot more abrupt in other programs. i've tried 8 or 10 now and i keep coming back to PhotoVista, despite its clunky interface. Realviz Stitcher has the best user interface, but it's a poor stitcher for anything without a strong pattern to lock onto.

PhotoVista deosn't really have problems stitching photographs with a lot of

I can choose to make the software everything or I can chose to align the
phothographs manually before stitching.
