I notice that no one has mentioned the Sigma 15mm f/2.8 EX fisheye. I think I'm the only one on the list who has one. It's cheaper than the DA 14mm (I think I paid USD $450 for mine) and it's full frame. I bought it because I wanted a cheap wide-angle lens, but I also enjoy the fisheye effect, even on the istD. If you just want plain wide-angle lenses, you can correct the fisheye effect using a PhotoShop plugin called PTLens. Anyway, it's a small, nicely-built lens with a great finish, the front element only sticks out a little, I haven't noticed significant flare problems with it, and it's sharp as a tack. I have a lot of fun with mine. The samples on Pbase convinced me to get it: http://www.pbase.com/cameras/sigma/15_28_ex Amita
