Subject: FW: Wanted - Resource on Flash (correct address this time I hope)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hi (apologies if this is a duplicate, I think I sent this to the wrong address first time.) can anyone recommend a resource on flash that they found useful? I'm making a real pig's ear of using flash for butterflies (Sigma PKA 180 macro f5.6.) This is OK because learning is half the fun (albeit slowly) and no-one ever sees the results bar me. Unfortunately I've been arm-twisted into recording a friend's wedding (as a second photographer thank heaven) and I really need to get this licked in the next couple of months. Thanks from an (until now) silent subscriber.
If you are going to do flash on camera, it's about as easy as falling of a bicycle. Put the flash on the camera, turn both on, set the flash to TTL auto, the camera to programmed exposure, and take pictures. I don't know what the flash range of your equipment is, but that should be in the owners manual.
