On the 400/5.6, there is no rear lens group. So that would be the whole lens group. :-) Not much use if it's missing the rear half of the lens body though, unless someone has a lens in need of repair. Was this one of the lenses that was made in an M42 version as well as for the 6x7/67 mount? I remember reading something about a couple of the long telephotos having identical optical designs.
