I have been a bit under the weather the past week and have not done anything more
about learning to use the digicam until today. The seller said that the IR remote
control never worked since day one. Reading the manual I turned on the remote sensor,
set the camera on the ottoman in front of my chair, pointed the remote at it, and
voilà a perfectly exposed and focused jpeg of my crotch <grin>.
See what I mean about how complicated these robocams are. You have to read the
reference manual, and be able to understand what they are saying between the
lines, just to use simple features. However I can not complain too much, his
BIN would have been lots higher if he knew the remote actually worked.
Anyway any one who reads the 300 page reference manual closely, and 3 or 4 books on digital photography ought to be able to use this simple consumer digital camera every bit as well as they could a super complicated manually operated professional one.
