Hello Jack,

Your reasoning makes pretty good sense.  I think the problem is that
you have competing subjects - neither of which is done justice.  I
think I would have gone for the overall scene putting the bone head in
a lower corner and then another with the bone head as the subject -
maybe a much longer lens from a distance to compress the scene so as
not to lose the horizon too much.
