Hmmm. Put optical image stabilization in a lens to reduce shutter speed by two EV. But put in twice as many optical elements, thereby boosting the lens's weight by how much? And that extra weight requires boosting the shutter speed back up by how much?

What's wrong with this picture?


More weight means more inertia. More inertia means a slower possible shutter speed, not a faster required one.
