Notice: Proud Parent Moment Upcoming: My youngest, Claire, auditioned for, and got a part in the children's chorus of a local production of a musical version Anne of Green Gables. They're putting on about 40 shows in late July and throughout August at the Thousand Islands Playhouse in Gananoque, about 20 miles down the road from Kingston (where she lives). A lot of people cottage there for the summer, so there are usually a lot of tourists along with locals that take in these things.
Rehearsals are 5 days a week, including weekends. Last weekend when I was visiting the kids, the ex and I showed up about 20 minutes before the end of rehearsal, so I could watch a bit. It was about 30C degrees, of course not air-conditioned, and everyone was tired after about 3 hours of singing and dancing. I think I caught Claire feeling the heat and fatigue: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3545029 You may comment. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
