I'm sick and tired of people telling me they're sick and tired . GRIN! But really - a 40 yr old coffee mug?? Interesting your 'back to basics' instincts. I have one of those whizz- bang cameras, but I only ever use it in manual or aperture priority, and usually manual focus. It can do loads of weird and wonderful stuff that I simply am not interested in. I still haven't used the P (for Program) setting because I haven't got a clue as to what it means. I just use it like the MX and LX - cameras I learned with.
