Lucas: I don't really know about the D, but at my Ds this depends on the Custom Setting on the camera. You can choose between 1/2 steps and 1/3 steps. Most likely you have already read this between the lines from other posts.
John: I havent been here long myself (somebody might think/say that "The Flaming Norwegian" has been here way too long), but I know this group as a very resource/help full group. Sometimes it's even a very funny place to hang around. Welcome to the club! And go and grab a virtual drink ;-) Tim Mostly harmless (just plain Norwegian.) Never underestimate the power of stupidity in large crowds (Very freely after Arthur C. Clarke, or some other clever guy) -----Original Message----- From: Lucas Rijnders [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 15. juli 2005 16:08 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Sigma 500mm f7.2 MF >> That seems to make more sense than an f/7.2 lens displaying as f/8.0. I only ever saw 5,6 - 6,7 - 8,0 - 9 - etc. on a Pentax, in which case it's defendable to show 8,0. However, I'm a bit behind the latest & greatest. It could be that the *ist camera's show more stops than Z and MZ camera's... -- Regards, Lucas
