Well, that *would* make it a tough decision!

But what kind of timeframe are we looking at? Pentax's next DSLR is sure
to be another step on the march toward the coveted $500.00 price point,
rather than a step up from the ist-D, and probably won't be available
until spring next year. Probably when Pentax gets their own CMOS sensor
out (they're working on it now).

The camera that comes next may be another top-of-the-line model but it
might be another even-less-expensive DSLR. The money is where the
big-selling consumer cameras are.
