Hello Tim, As I look at this one, I'm thinking that being there must add something to this. Basically, nothing really jumps out at me and I'm not really sure of the subject. Based on the title, I'm guessing that there was an overall calm feeling there maybe? The water may convey that somewhat, but it is not dominant enough to invoke that feeling in me. Sort of like the tree and water compete for attention, but neither really gets it. It could use a bit more drama to it either through composition and/or lighting. I'll be curious to see the next post.
