Perspective would be identical if the lenses were accurately proportioned at a 
ratio exactly matching that of the film area vs. the APS-C sensor. The AOV 
would match as well. Both are virtually identical in the examples. No one, to 
my knowledge has ever suggested that DOF would be the same. Wheatfield has 
groused over discussions that use 35mm focal lengths to represent the AOV of a 
lens on APS-C. To me, it doesn't matter a lick. Whatever works.
