According to Pentax the *ist name is reserved (thank God) for what they
consider entry level; typically ones first dslr. If they are to be
believed high-end bodies will not have that stupid name. Lets hope they

OK Kids:
I have a SanDisk CF card reader for USB2 for the person who, in my
estimation, comes up with the stupidest, yet still conceivably possible name
for the *istD replacement camera body.
Here's the rules:
All entries must be in before I go to bed on Sunday night. That is usually
around 11:pm, CST (-6 hrs, GMT).
All entries must be to my email address, not the Pentax Mailing List.
Anything that appears on the PDML will not be considered.
The subject line must be:
Stupidest Name Contest, in order to be filtered to the correct directory on
my machine.
If it doesn't hit that directory, it won't be considered.
This is a contest on several levels......
