I just received the K1000 w/A 80-200 lens for total of $147 including
shipping that I purchased from ebay. I would be surprised if more than 1
roll of film was run through the camera. The only marks on the camera are
finger print smudges on the metal, which can be wiped off. There is not a
single scratch on the baseplate. Everything looks as new.

My son now has a brand new camera to learn with. I'll take the zoom and
give him a 50/1.4.

I had been bidding on a brand new MIB K1000 outfit which came with a 50mm
lens and case. It eventually sold for $260.00.

At that price it was probably an equally good deal. I happen to have a
spare eveready case & 50mm lens, though so I feel happy I did not win the
higher bid.
